Sinopsis :
Drifters menceritakan mengenai kisah dari Shimazu Toyohisa, yang mana dia sedang terlibat dalam sebuah pertempuran dengan Sekigahara, dan dari pertarungan tersebut telah membuat li Naomasa dalam luka parah dan dalam keadaan yang kritis. Dan pada saat perjalanan dari sebuah lapamngan yang sudah rukak, dan dia dalam kondisi yang sedang berdarah.
Toyohisa menemukan dirinya diangkut oleh seseorang ke koridor pintu, dan dari sana sudah ada seseorang yang menggunakan kacamata sedang menunggunya. Orang tersebut bernama Murasaki, dialah yang telah mengirim Toyohisa kedalam pintu terdekat menuju dunia lain.
